Desirée Weerts (DēWē) is a ceramic artist exploring form through repetition and variation. Her practice balances intuition and precision, using clay to question what seems fixed. By testing technique and surface, she searches for new ways of seeing and new possibilities within form.

Alta

Alta is an exploration of closed forms, stretched and compressed to their limits. The pieces play with balance, weight and contour. They are sculptural objects, not made for function.

The series is a continuing study of stacked forms through repetition and variation. Each piece begins from the same base but shifts in shape, surface and material, keeping the work alive and in motion.
