Desiree Weerts (DēWē) is a ceramic artist exploring form, repetition, and transformation. By pushing the limits of technique and surface, she challenges both material and skill, searching for new possibilities within clay.

Obilo

An exploration of closed forms, where shapes are stretched and compressed to the edge of possibility. Layers of three glazes create a gradient that shifts from dark to light, following the curves and contours of the form. Purely sculptural, not functional.

Sculptural ceramic pieces that explore the tension between beauty and decay. Handbuilt and wheel-thrown forms rise like organic structures, shifting between growth and erosion.
