Clay Date: Wheel throwing with friends

Join me for an evening filled with creativity at this private pottery workshop. Gather a few of your friends and make a few beautiful pieces of your own.

During this 2.5-hour session, you and your friend(s) will have exclusive access to the atelier in Amsterdam Oost, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience.

Experience the joy of shaping clay with your own hands as you explore the pottery wheel and gain insights into the step-by-step process of creating small vessels or a few dinnerware pieces. We'll also incorporate handbuilding techniques, where you'll learn to create slabs and utilize molds for a beautiful plate or bowl.

The workshop includes:

• Materials for use during the session, including clay, tools, an apron, and a cloth
• Demonstrations and guidance throughout the session, helping you learn how to center the clay and practice a variety of forms on the pottery wheel
• Refreshments to keep you energized (please let me know if you're vegan)
• Firing and handling service for 3 of your pieces (per person)

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience, and can be conducted in Dutch or English.

Your finished pieces will be ready for pick-up within 6 weeks after the session. Up to 3 ceramic pieces per person will be glazed in opal white.
